In 1971, the first blue chronograph of Tudor, Oysterdate "Monte Carlo", was born. This watch is equipped with a blue 12-hour rotating outer ring or a blue-orange tachymeter scale ring. Because of its two blue small dials, it is very recognizable, so everyone affectionately calls it "Blue Cat". It was reproduced in 2013. In 1976, the first automatic chronograph of Tudor, Prince Oysterdate, was launched. Because of its slightly heavy shape, it is also called "Big Guy", and a blue version was launched at the same time. Later, with the continuous evolution of Tudor automatic chronographs, the case lines became smoother. Since the mid-1990s, blue dial styles have been provided. Among them, the more famous one is the blue dial "Small Guy" launched in 1997. It can be seen that blue always appears at the key nodes of the development of Tudor chronographs. This new Black Bay blue chronograph is consistent with its brothers and sisters in appearance. The diameter of the watch is 41 mm, the thickness is 14.4 mm, and it is 200 meters waterproof. The brushed and polished texture of the front of the stainless steel case is delicate, and the mirror-polished lug fold is exquisite. The difference is that this watch is paired with a more luxurious five-bead chain and equipped with Tudor's tool-free T-Fit adjustment buckle that can quickly adjust the length by 8 mm. After getting started, it feels more comfortable than the Oyster chain.

Of course, in addition to the appearance, the two biggest points of this watch are naturally its blue dial. Although Tudor has appeared in many blue colors in history, this time the blue is neither too deep nor too light, just right, especially its blue and red color scheme, which instantly made me feel like the soul of Lange's blue dial this year. As for other elements on the dial, it is still Tudor's iconic "snowflake needle", the calendar at 6 o'clock, the small seconds dial and the 45-minute chronograph dial are perfectly balanced and harmoniously symmetrical.
